Who I Am
My friends all tell me that I'm the person they want on their Trivial Pursuit team. My brain seems to hold all of these facts, many of which may be a tad obscure. From gardening and classic movies, to WWII and Revolutionary War history, I'll probably be able to talk about it.While I am goal-oriented, I am a very laid-back, relaxed person and I think I am very flexible. I am passionate about my friends, family, and interests and am always honest with my friends and coworkers. I am also passionate about caring for others and volunteering for medical mission trips. I have been to Ecuador and Guatemala twice each - these trips have literally changed my life. I try to take a trip each year and would love the opportunity to do long-term missions. |
| What I Like To Do
Nowadays, I seem to be concentrating on my new house of two months and dealing with the variety of problems and responsibilities that come along with that. I have been spending a lot of time in the garden - I am waiting for the frigid, Wisconsin winter before starting to paint inside.I love reading and watching old, classic movies. There is nothing better than to curl up on a rainy Saturday afternoon and watch Cary Grant or Humphrey Bogart. I also love the theater and opera. I was lucky enough to see Pavarotti in Greece on his farewell tour. I enjoy College Basketball and Football - I was raised on WVU Football and went to the University of Kentucky, so I really don't have a choice! I love traveling - my goal is to visit every continent and I am almost halfway there.
